Mexican Coca-Cola, as the name implies, is Coca-Cola from Mexico. It is noteworthy because it is produced with sugar, whereas the Coca-Cola that we have in the United states is made with high fructose corn syrup. Have you tried Mexican Coca-Cola? Sun Drop was created in 1949 and launched regionally in 1951. The citrus soda went national in 2011. In this episode, I taste the sugar version available in glass bottles, complete with pulp from the orange juice used to flavor it.
