Pepsi X is a limited edition release from Pepsi, released on October 8. It is a tie in with “The X Factor” TV show. The dragonfruit flavored cola was selected over 3 other choices based on responses from contestants and fans of the show during auditions at 20 locations in 15 cities. Have you had any Pepsi X? Pibb Xtra is Coca-Cola’s pepper market soda and the primary competitor to Dr Pepper. Mexican Coca-Cola, as the name implies, is Coca-Cola from Mexico. It is noteworthy because it is produced with sugar, whereas the Coca-Cola that we have in the United states is made with high fructose corn syrup. Have you tried Mexican Coca-Cola? Sun Drop was created in 1949 and launched regionally in 1951. The citrus soda went national in 2011. In this episode, I taste the sugar version available in glass bottles, complete with pulp from the orange juice used to flavor it.
