Introduced in 1955 in Africa, Sparletta Creme Soda is available in Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. The Coca-Cola South Africa website has this brand message for the drink: “Why Not?…BeND tHe RuLeS. Sparletta is a brand aimed at teens and young adults, which encourages a spirit of having fun. According to an article in the Miami New Times, Ironbeer Soft Drink was produced in Cuba until Fidel Castro took power. Once he began seizing property, in the 1960s, it was then made in Miami.
