I’ve never had Sparletta, but I know that when I go to Mediterranean restaurants I have to be mindful of the tea. Rose tea is very big in those countries and, though South Africa is far from the Mediterranean, my understanding is that much of its tastes from that style. So it’s not uncommon to mix rose and other flowers into drinks but, like you, it’s not to my taste…
